Begin Evening IOP in Georgia Today!

Mental health disorders cannot be treated by treating the symptoms alone. We use holistic and evidence-based methods to treat the entire individual.

At North Atlanta Behavioral Health near Atlanta, we want you to be successful in recovery from mental health disorders. When you have commitments that prevent you from participating in a partial hospitalization program (PHP) or daytime intensive outpatient program (IOP), our evening IOP programs and outpatient rehab programs in Georgia could provide the addiction treatment services you desire.

What Is an Evening IOP Program?

An Evening IOP program (Intensive Outpatient Program) is an in-depth treatment for individuals suffering from mental health disorders as well as co-occurring addiction. Unlike outpatient programs which require regular meetings multiple times per week, our IOP programs allow clients to attend comprehensive group and individual counseling sessions during the evening hours, four nights per week after work or school.

This type of therapeutic approach teaches participants how to recognize mental health symptoms and maladaptive behaviors. During evening IOP, clients are encouraged to find healthier habits while gaining insight into underlying issues associated with their diagnosis. It also helps encourage ongoing recovery by providing support through peer discussions, educational materials, behavioral assessments, 12-step exploration, meetings, psychiatric services, and medication management if required.

How Our Evening IOP Program Works

At our evening IOP program in Georgia, participants attend sessions for three hours five times a week. We use a comprehensive treatment approach to provide you with a solid foundation to build upon using evidence-based treatment methods, holistic treatments, individual and group therapy, and medication management.

At North Atlanta Behavioral Health, we understand that each individual’s addiction and recovery journey will differ. As such, we personalize our IOP programs to fit each individual’s specific needs. We work closely with our clients to create a treatment plan that fits their schedules and helps them receive the addiction treatment they deserve without compromising their other commitments.

Evening IOP Schedule

Our evening IOP schedule consists of meeting from 6 pm to 9 pm Monday through Thursday every week. We can work with you to adjust your customized treatment plan to ensure you receive the ongoing care, support, and assistance needed to cope with mental health disorders.

How Do I Know If I’m a Good Candidate for Evening IOP?

Anyone struggling with their mental health is a good candidate for evening IOP. Generally, those participating in our program have already completed some type of stabilization service or inpatient treatment before enrollment. In addition, their symptoms are mild to moderate and do not require more intensive or round-the-clock supervision.

Some of our clients are in a transitional phase, where they have completed residential mental health treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programming, or daytime IOP and still desire ongoing care to help them maintain their mental health. Our evening program is also well-suited for individuals in aftercare who want to continue their treatment journey and feel they need additional support.

Others might benefit from attending an evening rehab program due to work or family commitments. This allows them to attend evening treatment without sacrificing their responsibilities during the day.

No matter what stage someone is working through, our IOP programs in Georgia provide them with the resources needed while eliminating scheduling obstacles associated with more conventional forms of therapy.

Before starting our evening IOP, our intake specialists will meet with you to help you determine if you are a good candidate. During this consultation session, we will discuss what mental health treatment you have already completed, the extent of your addiction, the support system you have at home, and your ability to commit to our evening IOP program.
